I was hoping that Dallas would win, thus giving meaning to the Eagles/Falcons game.  I was hoping the Eagles would be playing hard and maybe break Vick's leg.

Tell me how Dallas lets this happen?  I do not understand, and I'm not a Dallas fan.

But wait, I thought Tony Romo was a HOF player?

Detroit did indeed win fking things up even on the last game of the season, we would have got the #1 Draft had we lost

it's ok, they would have picked yet another bust of a wide receiver.
So, really, it's a good thing.

Wow.  Detroit WON a game?

If only we could get rid of Millen.

I lost interest when Romo and the O line forgot how to play three weeks ago....

You are so right,  Detroit has the habit of ruining the career of # 1's

My father in law is big on Detroit sports, he lives in Royal Oak. He told me Detroit has changed coaches and just about everyone on the team but still can not get there ducks in a row.

Maybe they need to get a new owner.

BINGO !! The only constant with the Pussycats is the same owner for about 38 yrs now. We have gone thru some really great players ( like Barry Sanders ) and some decent coaches . Most here in Michigan agree that Mr Ford needs to go. Hell, I was 10 years old the last time the Lions were any good and that was in the 50's.

IRVING, Texas (AP) -- No, losing to the Detroit Lions does not revoke the playoff spot the Dallas Cowboys had already clinched.

It just means they're in a mess of trouble heading into what Bill Parcells likes to call "the tournament."

Done in by repeated mistakes from Tony Romo and a few more by Terence Newman, the Cowboys blew their chance to stay alive in the NFC East race and build some much-needed momentum for the playoffs with a 39-31 loss to the lowly Lions on Sunday.

"I can't tell you how disappointed I am. I really can't," Parcells said, his tone more deflated than irate. "This is the low point for me in a long time."

Detroit would've been better off losing this game and locking up the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

But even the Lions (3-13) couldn't refuse all the gifts the Cowboys gave them, from a penalty on Newman wiping out an interception return for a touchdown on the game's first snap to Romo failing to scramble into the end zone from the 6-yard line on the final play that mattered.
