If the military starts activating more reservists and taking on more than normal amount of recruits, could this affect the AR market.  This question includes both the complete rifle and parts markets.

I wont mention any names but the "Gun..... " in Ft Collins CO raised their AR prices by $200

That doesn't suprise me.  I think I was very lucky to have ordered and received my Bushy upper two weeks ago.  I hope other dealers and distibuters don't follow suit of the above mentioned.

Prices have remained the same for both AR's and AR mags.  However, AR mags are getting hard as hell to find.  NO 30's and only four 20's in the shop.

Around here you can find 30's no problem.  I can't fine 20's anywhere, see some at gun shows but they are far overpriced or in very poor condition.

Yeah, I can find 30's no problem, though at the last gun show they were running $5-$10 more than they usually do.  20's are impossible to find locally or at shows for anything less than a king's ransom.

Quick question.  Why would you want a 20 over a 30?

For I personally perfer the 20s because they expose your head a whole lot less.  The 30s are a lot taller, in prone position, I could use the mag as monopod.

While there is a wait, we can get all of the 2001 LEGP M4 configuration AR's you need!

The price is now $699, but without the limited edition laser engraving.

Most of the time I am shooting off the bench.  The 30's hit the bench unless you use a taller bipod or a bunch of sand bags.  They are easier to handle, and I don't really care about having 30 rounds at the range.  If I am plinking or doing just about anything else, in goes the 30 rounder.

www.aimsurplus.com still has 20 rounders, but they are Western Metal, so I really do not know the quality.  Last time I checked I believe they were under 15.00.  I just picked up 4 30 Orlite rounders for 9.995 each there on Monday.
