You can forget Congresscritter Barbara Lee (D-CA) as the sole dissenting vote in the House of Representatives for the emergency military appropriations bill passed by the House 434-1!

THE REAL STORY IS FOUND IN THIS CONCLUDING PARAGRAPH:

"The Senate passed the appropriations bill unanimously, 97-0, with three abstentions, Sens. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., and Barbara Mikulski, D-Maryland."

So Kennedy, Dodd, and Mikulski decided to abstain from voting on this measure! What summer soldiers and sunshine patriots these folks have turned out to be!  At least Rep. Lee was honest enough to be a member of the Communist Party USA and pay its dues!

'Abstain' is something Joseph Kennedy should have thought about the night he and his wife Rose conceived Teddy!
