Of course I, like a lot of other working folk, like to portray my employer as the bad guy.

But it was a pleasant surprise to arrive at work this evening, and find an inter-company memo from the V.P. on the message board, teling us all that the company is donating and shipping almost 2000 cases of bottled water to NY, for the use of relief workers at the WTC.

As much as I can find reasons to badmouth my company, I had to feel just a bit proud that the owners would dig into their own pockets to help those brave souls up north.
