The next time that something like 9/11 attacks takes place, please -

Don't post rumors!

The false reports of additional attacks on Tuesday made a bad situation seem even worse than it was.  What's the point -- to spread panic, and help the terrorists demoralize America?

If you want to report something:
1) Tell us the source.
2) Don't add any details (as apparently happened when the evacuation of the Capitol became an explosion at the Capitol).
3) Preface any speculation with a disclaimer, such as the word "SPECULATION".

This is just a suggestion.  I realize that some of you are going to announce it's SHTF time anyway. [rolleyes]

Back to the top, so someone can flame me for suggesting they use a little judgement when exercising their freedom of speech. [;D]
