Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Heard the first airplane go over...

since Tuesday.  Stepped outside to lock the truck and the noise stood out.  It was headed east out of Dallas.  Maybe a little louder than usual so maybe military, but on a normal departure pattern and altitude for DFW.

It was reassuring to hear a big jet roar again.

you have the airport names mistaken.

The airport they took off from was Dullas airport in washington DC, not Dallas

All I saw was a few police helicopters. The sky is usually full in Cleveland...so bizarre.

Some yutz was putzin' around Puget Sound in his little Piper Cub and got buzzed BigTime by the Military jet.
What this guy was doin', I don't know, but, apparently he got the plane down without the help of the Fighter and is presumably in a heap-o-shit for being up when he shoulda been down!
