Heard on the news that Bush wants congressional approval to be able to call up 1,000,000 reservists for up to two years.

Anyone hear anything else?

Last I heard was 35-50,000 reserve, with 10,000 coming from the Army Reserve.

Have you called your Unit Administrator yet?

Heard the same story again here in NY and they're now saying 50,000. It's just been approved so I doubt anyone at my unit would know.

I'll wait and see.

I am the Unit Administrator & detachment commander of my unit, and I have yet to hear anything on who is getting called up, or for what purpose.

Though, personnaly, I suspect the callup may be done in rotations, i.e., 30-50K now for 90 days, then another 30-50K for another 90 days.

But that is just speculation on my part
