Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - SIG 551, 552, CAR15, XM117

I got two questions:

1. What are the differences between SIG 551 and SIG 552 (the SIG commando in halflife counterstrike)?

2. I am very confused about this weapon called CAR15. At first I thought CAR15 is just this M16 descendant with the ultra short barrel and cute flash suppressor. Then I saw the CAR15 in IDF website and oh shit, they had long barrel like the M16 carbine. Then I came to know this weapon called XM117 and oh shit, how come it looks so alike to the CAR15?!!
