On planes and other places. Like banning guns bannings knives will not affect the criminals on planes. A criminnal is a person who is going to break the law regardless of the rules...Knives are banned in prisons have always been banned in prisons. but guess what knives (homemade) are there. On a plane you serve a meal on a little plastic tray. A hijacker picks up the tray and breaks it in two. Now he picks up a triangle peice of hard plastic that can cut and stab and is bigger than a box cutter. A shank or  a Shiv...Being armed is a solution but I dont think its going to go that way...Plus AWARNESS and TRAINNING. Weapons are every where the hard briefcase smashed into a head can kill a bar of soap in a sock...People just dont want to think its been said before it will be said again, People are sheeple.
