I own both.

Get the FAL.

Here's why - (remember when we used to talk about guns 'rond here??)

1. Less recoil.
2. less muzzle rise.
3. Pistol grip.
4. Cheap, plentiful mags.
5. Adjustable gas
6. Less money
7. More rifle.
8. Synthetic stock
9. Integral bipod
10. If from DSA, made with better parts.
