But I was listening to the radio all day yesterday, and they had a former US Army Colonel who is now a free lance terrorisim expert as a guest commintator and he refered to it as if it were a real happening. Its got to be on the internet somewhere.

But Muslims, like Orthodox Jews, usually require a burial with a clean, intact (as much as humanly possible), undefiled body.  Remember the pictures of the Sbarros bombint in Jerusalem? The guys with long hair and yamakas going around with tweezers and sponges? Exceptions are made for bombers, a modern mutation that warps the faith to fit current political ideals, but its expected the the body will be annihalated.  I doubt any of them thought that there would be any corpse left of themselves after being in the pilots seat of a aircraft that slammed into a building at 500+ mph.  They would find it utterly horrifying that they wouldnt go strait to paridise, that a corpse would be recovered to be defiled.

Doing this only works if we do it consistantly, however. But you have to attack your enemy at what he values in this kind of asymmetrical warfare. The reward for volunteering for suicide missions is paridise. Let them know that if its at all possible, we are going to take that reward away.
