At least I think it was an F-16.  It's dark outside, but I could barely make out the outline due to the reflection of the city lights.  Can anyone find a picture of an F-16 at night?  I can compare the running lights to be sure.

I was sitting inside on the computer when I heard a jet engine.  Ignored it for a while until I realized that all commercial traffic is still grounded.  It was east of my house, heading north.  Made a big, sweeping turn to the left and headed back nearly south and was west of my house by then.  I went back inside but heard it again a few minutes later.  Did the same thing but passed directly overhead as it headed south again.  Pretty high up, several thousand feet at least.  Second time I went out I saw anothe plane heading east.  No idea what it was though.

I have the binoculars out now, so if it comes back I can scope it out.  Murphy's law says it won't be back though.  [:)]

Something just went over again.  Two this time.  One in front had the green formation lights on, one in rear was dark except for a red light in back.

Not sure why they're flying over our area.  We're the red star on the map.  Frank the Spank might be able to see these if he looks west.

Definitely an F-16.  Only one this time, flying south to north, east of my house, but a lot lower.  Could see with the binoculars that it had a single tail, which would rule out an F-14, F-15 and F/A-18.

When I was walking back inside, saw two more planes way off to the south, one following the other, heading west.

Or heading back to Travis.  Just had something else fly over from south to north, turned left and is heading south again.

Chalk up one more lone F-16 passing overhead.
