Do you have parameters that you abide to when considering age difference between yourself and a potential date? I find that I do. I feel really uncomfortable dating any women five years younger than I. Makes me feel like a pervert. I would however, consider going about six to eight years older than myself. How about you? I hear the stories of the 40yr old guys dating the chicks in their 20's and it just seems strange to me.

Me - 31

Date - 26 - 38

Age is not that important, but a big gap can create problems.

My kids tod me when i got divorced i couldnt date anyone under 35....I was 50.

As far as dating only...the younger the better!

LTR get closer to your age.

The only contributing factor to my dating is my wife. She frowns on it for some reason so I don't. Before I was married I strongly preferred older women. I didn't like 21 y/o women when I WAS 21. My g/f before my wife was 18 years older than myself. One day I woke up and found out "older women" were all wearing depends so I started dating my wife who is one year younger than me. No depends for about twenty years (hopefully).

I recently turned down a hot 19 year old girl. I felt like a damn pedophile even talking to her. I'm 31 and was out partying in the bars when she was 9!

It's a HUGE factor for me. They have to either be old enough or young enough so that there is no chance that they will know my wife.

Every person is different. My friend's wife is 25. She's more level headed and mature than some 40 year old women I know.

It all depends on the individual.

Not sure if there is an upper limit though, I guess it depends on how rich they are and how close to dying?

21 and younger -> way too immature... I don't care how she looks (that's for later), if all the wants to talk about is the last time she was drunk, or if she thinks I talk in 'speeches' because I use words with more than 4-5 letters -> no go...

I'm 23. The girl I date is 30 and its not an issue for me, but sometimes she'll have an issue with it, but they are short lived and not a big deal overall.

I don't think I'd be able to tolerate anyone under 25. Too crazy.

21-26 Amusing date, not really expecting to be impressed, probably find them annoying

27-34 Possible marriage material

35-38 Maybe, maybe not

39-55 Only for sex

+1 on the half your age +7 years on the lower end. However I'm usually most comfortable with 10 years either side of my age.

I've dated 10 years older and 18 years younger, so I would have to say no, it is not a factor.

I'll nail 'em all the way from 19 to 10 years older than me, but

I wouldn't date anyone younger than 10 years below me.
