I don't think you'll need the Draft, as when your homeland is invaded or attacked, one is compelled to be in for the fight.
Self predervation, and the future of your homeland for your children, and their children is at stake. I am sure your recruiting centres will be chock-a-block ,if need be. Things have changed now, and will never be the same, as they were on 10 Sep. If you can't fight, give blood. That can save a life! |

To think that America would have to start a draft after this attack is pretty sad, alot of the people living here have lived under the freedom that was provided by the blood of our grandfathers generation, and it's time for young men living under that umbrella of freedom to step up and fight for an defend there country, to many have become complacent, for the cost of freedom the tree of liberty must bleed a little, and the people must remain ever so vigilant.

I tried, sigh, they won't take me - I'm 38, we'd have to get the draft going in order for me to be able to go.

They will only take us (38-45) if we reinstate the draft.

There will be no draft unless there is an all out war. My gut tells me that's not going to happen. It's one thing to wage a guerilla war in a place like vietnam against us, but another to do it in the deserts. A little technology goes a long way.

I was regular Army in the early 80's and after a 16 year break in service I enlisted in the National Guard at age 35, (waiver required) and I am now 37y/o, If you can't enlist, don't let it get you down, we need patriots here to defend our homefront while the rest of us are away, defend uor families.

I was too young for Vietnam, in my last year of college when we were in the gulf, and NOW I'm to old for this. Just great.

36 years old former Marine, medically discharged, on top of being 240 pounds at 6' tall. They'd have to be scraping pretty deep in the barrel to let me back in, but I assure you that I am more than ready to go help kick some ass. I have a lot more skills than when I was a 19 year old Lance Corporal, especially in the protection and counterterrorism field, so who knows...

CQB30 is entirley correct, while I am gone I will feel much more at ease knowing that there are still men of honor back in the US defending my family, the RKBA, all our freedoms.
You guys will have alot more to do here, but I will be better able to do my job knowing I don't ahve to worry about how things back here are being handled. |
