I have a ton of different guns, 5.45 ak, AR10 carbine, hk 91etc. If I was going to do it over, other than hunting guns I'd buy one pistol (Glock, Sig or good 1911), an AR Carbine and a scoped 308. I'd eventually get back ups of those same guns and stick to shooting the crap out of those guns. I cannot remember the last time my Beretta Storm or Lee Enfield left the house.
RotorDemon I don't mean that as a criticism of you. I just now think that the many rifles and carbines that I bought on a whim and ended up not shooting very much cost money that I could have better spent getting the couple of guns I shoot 99% of the time set up the way I want or on training of ammo. I think Arfkom is very good at convincing you that you (well maybe me, not you
) have to have the latest greatest whiz bang gun.
A guy I know found out that I was a staff here and asked me what kind of ARs I have and he was surprised that I did not have some noveske barrelled, short dot sight equipped, vltor stocked super carbine; but I've been at too many classes and competitions where guys with fairly generic ARs outshot me.
Anyway nice start of a collection. Sorry for the hijack.
