Hmmm, it just seems like such a shame to throw them out.  Wish there was some way to get some more use out of a past due Jack O Lantern on Nov 1st.

Any Ideas?

You're teaching your 6 and 8 year old CHILDREN how to shoot people in the head?
You're a damn fine parent.

The bank next to my office has a GIANT pumpkin in the lobby. Tomorrow I am going over and liberating it so that it can be returned to the wild.
And Then I am going to shoot it with a 12 Gauge.

I am going to pick up a bunch of free ones tomorrow and shoot them full of holes.

SS109's box of truth.
I find the slower bigger rounds do more damage than the .223. And surprisingly, the .22LR do a lot of damage for their size.

One of the local farms has a sizable herd of buffalo.
They have the kids bring their pumkins to the farm and have a "Feed the buffalo" day.
It's fun for the kids.

Naw, we got folks like here too.  It's always fun to knock on someones door only to look down at a fuzzy pile of pumkin goo.
