I have a car for sale on my front lawn. Evidently someone has taken a dislike to the windshield. Looks like they took a baseball bat to it.
It's a 1990 Cavalier wagon with 205,000 miles on it. I'm asking $600. Do I fix it, or reduce the priceto $450 and add "needs windshield" to the description?

Reduce it to $450 and put a video camera on your car for any future mishaps!

I vote for the 2nd. Or just offer to replace the winshield at the $600 price, but don't do it until someone wants it. BTW, will it leak?

I always wanted to know what a charity would do with a run down car with major problems. Sell it? Wouldn't make sense to pump money into it to fix it up |

One of our local charities, Step 13, takes beat up cars and has the ex-drug addicts & drunks learn a trade fixing them up for sale. And the bonus is that you get to take off, for charity, the value of the new, improved car. Sounds like a win-win situation to me. |

You're looking at the glass as half empty.
Cut the top off with a saws-all. Market it as a covertable and raise the price by another $600 dollars.
