There's a video made of of clips of every murder in the death wish series. The video is 20 minutes long.

While not the best cinematically (that would be the original Death Wish), I voted for DW3.

Wildey Magnum +

Belt-fed M1919 goodness

isnt that the one where Charles Bronson shoots the thief  called the "Giggler" ?

he uses an expensive camera as  bait then the purse snatcher guy called the "Giggler" grabs it and runs off, then gets shot

Technically, number two.
Number one was just a low budget "B" movie, that probably wouldn't have been made if Bronson hadn't signed on. But, it came out at the right time and rode the "anti-hippie backlash" momentum of the times (along with Dirty Harry, ect.), and it made more money than was expected. Because of that, number two got a bigger budget, better writing and production, marketing, ect.
Three and four were late, and ended up being cheesy campfest's.

the first DEATH WISH movie was the most depressing, the sad music and when they showed all the vacation pictures of him and his wife before she was killed.

DW III:  Scene when he shot the punk in the head, through the boom box.

There is a doctor at the hospital I work at who looks a lot like Charles Bronson. When AMC used to show the Death Wish series often a while back, I would always make a comment about having watched it the night before and my co-worker and I would mention the doctor and the hot married piece he was having an affair with. I think they're all good for killing time. As movies go they suck in almost every sense.

Yep ... "he shot the Giggler!!!"  When I first saw the movie I wondered why that Wildey didn't put the bullet through the Giggler and into the next county ... but I guess that's Hollywood for ya.

Oh yeah, I forgot the M72 as well.
