Estimate how much it would cost me to do a reasonably nice lighting job on this tree. I have no idea how much the bulb strings cost per foot.

Lights are cheap, but getting to the top of that tree is going to have logistical problems...

Looks like you would need a bucket truck or a kid good at climbing trees..
I woul just get a crapload of C-9 lights from Walymart...they are fairly cheap. ETA..well if you got a bucket truck.... Use C-9 bulbs they look the best on that type of tree...don't bother with the mini lights. |

Tim if it were me I would ask at the local nursery/garden center, they tend to dabble in Christmas stuff closer to the holidays.

I was thinking that or a skytrak, but seriously, lights are cheap, here are some for $25 for 87', and that is not a reference to the bad number, they really are 87' long. Plus you'll get to tell a good story of your trip to HERE, maybe even have a good draw down story.  edited for spelling |

First off you need to get all that white stuff off of it.
 Seriously, look around. There are companies that will do it for you. They decorated my mom's entire house for 300$. |

The only reason to hesitate on the 87 monster string is that if it goes bad, then you will have a big section to replace. |

What, you haven't gotten any snow over there yet? This was my place this morning near Kalispell. About 6 inches, all of it fell Sunday.
