I know what you're thinking, what's so special about it, is it the laser? (Which has been removed)

No.

Is is the funky Socom style magblock.

No.

Maybe the caliber?

Well it is a .40

I'm going to try it out today if I have time, this is my first day off in a week and I've got tons of stuff to do.

Now I know that these aren't desirable but I wonder how many of these were made and are left?

You're right. Your the only one I know with a Dalphon receiver. And the only one I know with a .40 AR.

So I guess that makes it "double rare."

Or is that "half as rare?"

The company who made them is out of business, the owner of said company is in Club Fed for reasons that I don't know.

That's because we've all been told that we are to NEVER ADD IT UP!!

Never add up how much you have in guns, ammo, accessories!

You have a $450 rifle, next you'll need to hunt down and buy some mags (more money) and of course a gun without ammo is useless, so you'll need to buy ammo (more money) and you will probably want an optic or two (more money) then a different something (more money) and an extra something else (even more money).

Dayamm.... pretty soon you're gonna have over a grand in your rifle!!

You might have to fab (or pay someone) to make some up.

Maybe you can find a very similiar (dimensionally) mag and modify it.

Nice weapon,

remember to post its performance

Well I just ot back from putting about 200rds through it, surprisingly it shot great, I hat 2 FTF but that was it. Today was more of a function check than anything and it surprised me. Graned this was about 25yds (indoor range), and I had muffs on so it was hard to get a good sight view but other than that I think that it did pretty well. I used only the open sights, didn't want to use the red dot.

...and all that shooting wore my wife's cat () out!

I bet you're right, I'll have to pick one up and try it.

I'll be happy if I can get 2-3 more mags for it.

..and to add to the range report it fired SXT Rangers and FMJ Remingtons without hesitation! The 2 FTFs were both FMJs, 1 I fired off in my Glock and the other wouldn't fire at all.

It's not really collectible at all IMO, just something that there weren't very many made and the owner (now in Club Fed) gives it an intresting history.

The last I "Heard" he got caught drilling holes in AR' Lowers (Holes that NORMALLY involve registering with 'ATF) but, that could just be a local rumor.

I always thought he was a pretty nice guy (If a little "Weird") from my contact with him at the Oregon and Washington 'shows.  His ol' Lady was pretty nice too but weird as well

Go ahead and mark me down for a serial number between 280 and 290.  That lets me know there are at least that many produced to include examples of what not to produce. Relatively low number if they didn't screw around with SN's to inflate their "worth".
