Well tonight its that time again in my town, its trick or treat night!  So my job is to man the door and watch for little kids to give candy. (or boxes of XM193)

I was wondering what the hive mind thought i should wear to the door,  My current plan is a 1911 in a Blackhawk dropleg holster.  M4 clone on a 3 point sling. and a chest rig full of mags.  If any one asks what i'm armed for, I'll say i'm dressed as the 21st century version of the minutemen!

Apparently many people trick or treat 5 to 7 days prior to the actual day.

Damn, around here if Halloween falls on a Sunday, the kids trick-or-treat on Saturday. That caught me by surprise the first year I was here.  Not celebrating at Pagan holliday on the designated day just seems wrong to me.

Paint your pubs red and go around flashing people saying your firewood.

No guns for me.  I'm going to wear a skull mask when I pass out the candy to the older "trick or treaters," and to the younger ones, I don't wear the mask.  I learned my lesson a fews back, when I really scared a little kid.

Naked, roller skates,  rope tied around the pecker.    You're a pull toy!

Yes, don't do the whole militia "showy" thing.  Hope you were joking, cause that wouldn't end well...

How about regular clothes and one concealed weapon somewhere on your person.

Pretty hard to come up with a costume on such short notice.

Same here in Mesa AZ.  Lots of LDS folks.  In-L:aws stake had a big carnival on a Saturday night when Halloween fell on Sundays.

Well unfortuanetly no trick or treaters yet.  I opted to just do the concealed carry naked on a skate board!

Just me in jeans at the door.   Though the "Caution Mined area" sign at the end of the driveway may have kept them out
