... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 2 PM this
afternoon to 5 am MST Monday...
Snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches in the valleys below 5000
feet and 6 to 12 inches in the mountains... including Marias
Pass... are expected this afternoon through daybreak Monday
morning. Brisk east to northeast winds 15 to 30 mph will also
accompany the snowfall. Travel will become hazardous from snow
packed and icy roads... with visibilities reduced in blowing snow.

... First winter storm of the season is expect today and tonight...
A big change in the weather is coming to western Montana and
north central Idaho today into tonight as a strong cold front Ushers
in modified Arctic air. This cold air will move into northwest
Montana later this morning and then move south and west across the
rest of western Montana and north central Idaho this afternoon into
tonight. Brisk winds will accompany the cold front along with the
first snowfall of the season for most western Montana valley
locations. The most significant snowfall will occur along the
Continental Divide later today into tonight.
On Monday... the cold air will have settle over the region. Daytime
high temperatures on Monday will be around 20 to 30 degrees colder
than what we have been experienced over the past several days.
