i lived bio-warfare. i was stationed at usamriid during desert storm. For biological attacks kiss your ass goodbye. You won't know until it's to late. For chemical attacks your best bet is a high quality hepa filtered mask and get indoors asap. In a civilian enviornment i find it highly unlikely you would have,let lone have time to don MOPP gear. The current issue MOPP gear is effective for some chemical agents but not all.

If we are hit with either odds are by the time we know it will be to late to react. In the event of an announced attack get indoors don a mask a pray it doesn't happen.

My point was not that you can't survive a NBC attack. It was simply that 99.99% of the american public has no concept of what to do. Nor will the average american be alerted in time to protect themselves from such an attack. Actually a chem attack is realtivly mild with some basic planning and common sense. I can tell you first hand that a biological attack on US soil will be devastating.
