I've had some ODD costumes over the years. One time I dressed in a black catsuit with a tight black wrap around my head and outlined myself in neon yellow tape. I was a "chalk line" and spent a LOT of time lying around in different dead poses while at work. (my boss found it hysterical. we had NOTHING going on that day)

Another time I wore a black dress suit and attached fake birds and blood all over me and was that chick from the movie "The Birds".

One year I was a deviled egg. I made a round, white shell around me and wore devil horns.

Then there was the pot head ... which was fairly easy. I dressed in "slacker clothes" and fixed a flower pot to my head.

But the best one was when I was the "Phantom of the Grand Old Opry" which was pretty funny. I wore the regular mask from the Phantom of the Opera with a black cape and slicked my hair down pretty good ... then I donned a cowboy hat, boots, holster and a fake horse. I won the award that night.

I won a contest in like 5th grade.... I wore a white trash bag, covered in mayonaise... I was a pimple!

I did something similar at a costume party last night. NRA hat, BDU pants, gunsmith shirt, and a Safariland 6004 with an airsoft pistol. I was actually going as a professional zombie exterminator. My wife was the zombie. I found it funny that I didn't have to buy anything for my costume.

The sickest yet most amazingly unorthodox costume I've ever seen was done by a fellow Midshipman back at USNA.

He put on a flesh-colored skin-tight bathing suit, covered himself in red paint, wrapped a hangar around his head, ad went as an abortion.

Even now, all I can say is:

One of my co-workers was seriously considering dressing as a KKK member....not funny at all except he was black. He decided that some folks wouldn't see the humor though.

I've gone as Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange. Full on droog gear: white shirt, pants, suspenders, bowler hat, combat boots, cane fake eyelash on one eye. Kinda sucks trying to explain it to people who've never seen the movie. The folks who did get it liked it.

I've done Pimpy SMurf - painted myself blue, and dressed like a pimp.
Another year was a disco ball - Silver shirt, shaved my head, silver makeup, glued sequins all over, and had a 1AAA flashlight on each shoulder, pointing up.

I've got a halloween party to get to in.... 3.5 hours.

The usual BUCC_Guy halloween get-up: Floorlength velvet skirt, Sketcher's zip-side femme-boots, blond wig... and the obligatory au-natural 2 inch beard.

Title of the costume: "Ugliest Woman In The World"

To top it off, I have a shirt that says "Oh crap, you're going to try to cheer me up, aren't you?"

Best costume I've seen was a buddy of mine. Black guy, dressed in regular clothes. Went up to him and asked, What are you supposed to be? Him: Nothing, Im keeping a low profile, Im "Incog-Negro". Playing off the word Incognito. I fell over I laughed so hard.

No joke in college a buddy of mine showed up butt naked on roller skates and said he was a pull toy. There are pictures and other friends to verify, but it was pretty scary since he was 5'9 236lbs.

I was too busy laughing at a buddy of mine that came with his girlfriend as Beyonce and Lenny Kravitz. He had used that self tanning cream to get himself that dark.
