Please no NFA stuff.  Obviously that is going to be high dollar.

I'm curious what your most expensive firearm is?  How often do you shoot it?

Mine is an Israeli-made Desert Eagle Mark XIX in 50ae.  I don't shoot it much because it's a beast and a PITA to clean.

Only pic I have is this old one when it was wearing a cheap red dot (mistake.)

Second is probably an old Savage 99 in 250-3000, a takedown model.  I never see takedowns for sale so I dunno what it's worth.

my most expensive gun burned up in the fire at my place years ago.  My second high dollar rifle is at the bottom of a lake from a boating accident.

all I have now is just airsoft guns

DWM 1915 Luger
All matching serials including 2 mags, no import stamp.
I put a mag through it in 2004 to verify function, cleaned it, and put it away.

Nothing speshul or expensive. Just my "baby" and one that I'm very proud of. SA M1A Standard with 10X Supersniper... 'bout $2K into it so far.

Coincidently my AR build.  Stag lower Model 1 Dissapator upper.  I prefer AKs and handguns so spending $800ish on a gun is a new thing.

Too lazy to dig up pics now....maybe later.

I have about $1500 into my M4gery and at least $1000 into a super tack driver 10/22.
Nothing super high end in my collection...just a lot of decent stuff, nothing outrageous.

ETA - I got unlazy and looked in my server for an active pic of each....

Old pic posted here several times but the rifle is in pretty much the same configuration today:

Bad picture but you get the idea...probably my best build ever:

That one is mine. I have more money into it now than I did then.

Second most expensive gun isn't here yet. It will be cheaper....sorta.

Interesting.  I guess it's my M4gery, with the accessories it is the most money I have in one firearm.

I guess this matches it...if you count the suppressor.

I have around 4K in this one.

My first really expensive firearm, I have $3600 in this one.

A little over 3K in this one.

My rarest piece, also a little under 3K in this one.

Nothing wrong with that! I have a Franchi stackbarrel I shoot birds with. It was cheap, as doubles go.

Well I would say my blinged out AR15 has the most money in it. Its base cost was like $800 six years ago. However it's since got a Grenadier Precision rail with panels and KAC grip, Tango Down pistol grip, Aimpoint M3, a $17 flash light with a cheap scope ring, collapsable stock, ARMS #40 BUIS, and an LMT 16" M4 barrel that I added on to it. I guess that would put it around the $2000 range that I have in it. I'd like to do an LW gas piston conversion some day. That'll add several hundred more dollars to it.

As for actual base price, I had an $1200 Springfield TRP Operator that I later sold. It was a sweet pistol, very sweet, I just wanted something lighter/smaller/higher capacity for CCW. I'm fickle like that.

I've never understood why that matters to some people. It's just a #. It's an artificial inflation of value based on some crazy idea that because something rolled off an assembly line before another of the same exact make/model, that it's more valuable.

These are all my long guns as of last year at this time.  I've added a few since.  In the middle on the floor you'll see a big black mass of a gun.  that's my McBro's .50

A close second.
