absolutely. i had the considerable privilege recently of speaking with several Americans who are working in Russia to get some joint ventures going. Russia has a lot of problems, but a lot of potential as well. to a growing extent our interests are parallel.

Be careful here...
The Russians couldn't kick the Afghan's asses in a day, so we probably can't either, even with our "terrible resolve." |

... Afganistan is a shithole. Geographically it almost perfectly lends itself as a guerrilla hideout.
