I'm 24, but skinny as a rail. I probably wouldn't be able to hump as much as many others, but I can shoot and walk long distances. Make me a sniper...I'll put a 168gr HPBT right between Laden's eyes.

This was brought up at work today. Although I'm almost 44, have two blown disks in my back and both knees are shot (ah, rugby), I'll sit next to Grizzly. My dad got the Bronze Star in The Big One and never fired a shot in anger.

I've been considering enlisting for a while. But, I wanted to finish school first. If there is a war, I'll put that on hold and enlist to kill the SOBs.
P.S. I was looking at that picture, Is that a Guy falling/jumping out of the Building ? He is just below the part that is on fire. Man, I would not jump from that height without a Chute. |

I'm 44, 200 lbs (was 250 until last spring) have flat feet, psoriasis. I'm in a lot better shape than I was, but I'm married with 3 kids. At best, I could fly a desk for the military (have never been in the service), so that somebody else would not have to, and be used for something else. Anything else, I'd be a liability. (That's why young men fight wars...)
This is a whole new ballgame, and it's too pat to blame it all on just Bin Laden- could the anti-WTO anarchists also be involved? Otherwise, why attack the WTC, unless somebody wanted to wreck the world economy? |

I'm too old to go back in, unless things were to get really bad, but I have e-mailed my old division COS, and told him that if 1CD went, I want to go, too. A guy at work asked me what to join, and I told him "Army-19 series, 11-series, 13-series, or nothing" I would give away everything I own to go back and rejoin my brothers.
