I know the feeling.

That scene will never leave me.

The inital shock, followed by the second, then the Pentagon news, wasn't enough.
It took a while for it all to sink in that we are at War with enemies unknown.
The anger and disbelief at the number of innocent people killed; the destruction without regard to not only the immediately affected area, but, to America as a nation, did, indeed have me seething and wanting swift and merciless retribution.
Trudging through the difficult times ahead, we will again get our thoughts collected and find those that have assailed our Freedom.
