Imagine the utter chaos that would have produced... They got the 911 call from a passenger on that flight... wonder if they will release that. Looking at local blood drive locations... although I don't think I can give blood now because I'm sick. (making the wife go!) |

Actually, current info points to Camp David being the target of that aircraft.
A nuke plant would not result in a nuclear explosion if crashed into, though a release of material would be probable. Semper Fi! Ken Little |

Hogwash. That plane left Newark bound for California. Three Mile Island is near Harrisburgh. Look at a map. The fucking plane flew RIGHT FUCKING PAST Three Mile Island headed west and just kept going. Wherever it may have been headed, I think we can set that asinine rumor aside.

Nuclear power plants are supposed to be able to withstand a plane crash without becoming compromised (leaking radiation). Surely they knew that and were targeting something else.

More likely it was Camp David. I hear it was a shootdown, not sure of the validity of that rumor.
