I tried asking this very same question on the Optics & Sight board but didn't get any response.  My question revolves around the advantages/disadvantages of the GG&G A2 Flip-up versus the MAD Sight.

Which one is better?

I mean the A2 flip up looks just the carry handle sight - the rear sight picture will look very familiar. A plus is that the Ashley Express same-plane big aperature can be installed.

The MAD looks huge. No possibilty of 'ghosting' out the rear sight with that one. But then again, the advertisment states that it was developed at the Naval Surface Warfare Center - and having spent 6 years in the suck, I KNOW the Navy never does anything wrong.[:E]

Also, which sight would be less in the way of an EOTech Holosight?
