Built in Italy by Sites. Anybody else got one of these? They are built like a rock. I've had mine since before the crime bills and it shoots like a mother (great). I took it to the range a couple of weeks ago and let a couple of my friends shoot it. They are both MP5 fanatics. Afterwards one of them wanted to buy it so bad that he almost wouldn't take "no" for an answer.

Spectre?  Doesn't sound familiar - mind posting a pic?

First, post the picture to the internet, say  www.photopoint.com/mypics/picture.jpg

After publishing to the Net, type {img}www.photopoint.com/mypics/picture.jpg{/img}  in the body of your next message.

Replace the {} with [] brackets instead, I used those so it wouldn't actually try to post that picture.

Never jammed once and I have put every POS round I could find through it. Sorry about your .40 though.

What is really wild is that I got this thing at a gun show and then couldn't find any clips for it. It came with a 30 rnd. but that was it. I called the importers and they were expecting a shipment of 50 rounders in the following week. I ordered and recieved three of them within a couple of weeks. They were the Sites brand and also are built like a brick, and work great. They were just $50 each, which was high for something like that back then. They are a lot higher now.

I got a Spectre in 9mm. Got 3 50rnd magazines. These things are just super! Nothin like rackin off 50 rnds of 9 at the range. They are built like a tank, and mine is as accurate as any of my SIGs. You can still get a folding stock and forward handgrip for them, along with combat slings and such from:

http://www.mfiap.com/sitemain.htm

They also have a bunch of pictures for folks that want to see what they look like. The import ban of 89 stopped these cold in there tracks. There were only 1000 9mm, 300 .40, and 30 .45 ever imported.

This is it. I might get one of the forward grips but I'll have to remove my laser cause it mounted down there. Thanks for the pics yobo.

I had one in 40 cal and loved it until the ejecter broke.  I spent many many months trying to find a new ejecter.  After finding one and spending almost 100.00, it never worked the same.  I love Spectre and the price however at least you can find parts for the HK.

Unless it's one of the very few Spectre carbines (rifles) imported, don't do it.  A forward grip on a pistol requires NFA approval.

But, it's only considered an AOW.  Thus, have a Class II do it for you and transfer it back to you with only a $5.00 tax stamp.

Sorry to rain on the parade.  [:(]
