A friend of mine just let his expire. He hasnt bought and sold any firearms for proffit in years. He was tired of jumping thu hoops for no real reason.
Sucks too beause he gave me smokin deals on any gun I wanted. |

I've got an FFL and run a legitimate business trying to make a profit. If that is what you want to do, go for it. However, you will soon find the markup in most firearms sucks to say the least. I don’t see how a guy can feed his family being a gun dealer. I’ll spare you the details of all the hassles of the business in this thread.
 You’ll need to make sure zoning isn’t an issue for your gun business. This is something you probably didn’t need to concern yourself with for the C&R.  Now, if you were thinking of getting your FFL just to save you and your friends some dollars on toys, I would strongly advise against it. If I can assist you in any way, please let me know.  Mark |

Yes, you have to be 21+ to deal in firearms.
The major sticking point in a lot of places is zoning.... and there aren't more because the ATF has tightened up rules to reduce the number of dealers [which was glutted a decade or so ago...] |
