Who here has bought products that have "As Seen on TV" on the package?
For me it's the "Ding King"

I got a hot glue gun from it cheaper than just the glue gun off the shelf

Does the Ding King work?

I tried to find one a few months back...

It didn't work with the wingnut pulling it out.

I just let the glue set for about 10 minutes and grabbed the bar and yanked real hard.

Getting the glue off was the hardest part.
When the area gets dirty I can still see the glue marks.

So essentially you use hot glue with a suction cup to do the yanking action?

Yep.

Body shops do use a similar process.

As long as the dent doesn't crease the metal it works well.

One of my uncles owns a body shop and I did get the chance to ask before I tried it.

As much as I hate to admit it, I've bought several things that say "As seen on TV"...and they usually turn out to be junk.

Each time, I vow NEVER to do it again...to me, "As seen on TV" equates to "It's junk and we're ripping you off".

One exception...the spatula thing that also grips sandwiches as you flip them over (I don't remember what it was called)...it's awesome and works great!

My  mom bought a George Foreman grill.   "Lean, mean, grilling machine"

It actually works VERY well.

I bought one of those and got another one as a Xmas gift. Great gadget.  I bought a can of Oxyclean which was ok and some Kaboom, but only because Target carried both and it's an upscale type of place, compared to Walmart, except their motor oil selection sucks and they dont sell guns or ammo

If you ever watch the infomercial closely for the dent puller thing, it actually creates a bigger dent in the car but they zoom in quickly in hopes of no one noticing.
