Evidently they had a woman grabbed over the week end at Multnomah Falls [big tourist trap here in Oregon] and so they had a deputy go over steps for women to protect themselves from sexual predators.  You know, hike in pairs.  Stay away from suspicious looking men

They also interviewed a few women as to what they would do if grabbed [incidentally the woman grabbed in the report was 'saved' by her cell phone ringing.  Chalk one up for luck].

One woman said "I'd kick him in the privates" [exact quote]

One woman demonstrated the elbow to the nose trick you see on Miss Congeniality.

My thought is why can't I ever be interviewed.  I can picture it.

Reporter "What would you do if you were grabbed in the woods by a stranger?"

Me "I would shoot the bastard."
Camera man "Keep rolling, we can edit that out."

*ETA* If I was crafty I could say "I would elimiate the world of cull."  but I do not think that quickly on my feet.

No way would they get that.  However my CCW isn't that nice.  I could say "I would give Mr. Perp 1911 reasons not to get up in the morning."  They wouldn't get that either.  However the Oregon HTF would go haywire!
