My wife and I have 2 high-percentage wolf hybrids, 2 red foxes, and 8 cats. It seems like every week we are taking something to the vet. The neighbors have dozens of dogs and cats, not to mention goats, cows, horses, and chickens. If my wife finds a stray, she tells them where to find it and they stop along the road and pick it up. Better them than me...

Sounds like you may need to change your name to dogman or clip a lot of coupons for dog food. I have been putting up with stray dogs for years. Good luck !

the big problem is all these dogs have to live in the house with me. it's either to hot or to cold or whatever to send them outside. Damn i haven't been able to use my couch in a month. The bassett and my beagle have claimed it.

Sounds like my wife.
We currently have 3 dogs... all "throw aways" but I don't mind since I love dogs. My father was a vet so we always had large number of animals around the house when growing up. |

Don't knock the strays....I currently have the sweetest cat in the world whom I've spent 19 years with so far. And I had 18 years with the best german shepard you'd ever want to meet. It nearly killed me when I lost him two years ago. I currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs (all strays when I got 'em), and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
I've adopted a lot of strange orphans in my lifetime...possums, bats, etc., but I have to admit, I've never heard of a stray fish ....hmmmm.... [:\] |

Seems to be a common thread here,
We've got 3 cats, 2 anoles, 8 fish, and god knows what else she is hiding. She also begs me to keep ANY cat she sees, some are strays...some I wonder about.... |

Sounds like my wife too. All legs and boobs. She hates animals though. I won't tell how many cats, opossums, skunks, rabbits, squirrels, deer and such she has shot. Hehe. [}:D]

Welcome to the club!
We have 4 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 fish. This, after we got rid of all of the reptiles (20 or so). But wait, there's more. These aren't pound puppies. These are AKC animals (average $300 each). On top of that, we spend 100's of $$$$ each month pampering them. She loves animals and when she sees one she likes, she immediately wants to add it to our collection, and we also have a small 3 BR house. Last year, she wanted real, live, fricken penguin for Xmas, and we live in the dessert! Why do I put up with it? [bounce] Oh yeah, blonde hair blue eyes 36x26x36 [:D] I guess, as long as I get to play with my favorite furry freind, all is well. [spank] |

We have 6 dogs and 2 cats. All strays/throw-aways accept one dog that I bought. We both bring them home so no biggie...!
