I knew I missed something on the new engine... guess I found it... heehee
System utilization for the current load (~300 connected users) dropped from 90% to 30% which is a pretty big deal... heehee System memory is never an issue since the machine is friggen stocked with RAM so I guess this worked out well... KEEP ME POSTED PLEASE!!! Things should improve further once the new ISP comes through and we drop a few more boxes in to handle load balancing... -- GB |

Heck, who knows? I live in a rural area and can only log on at 26.4K, so it always seems slow to me. Probably better though!

Seems better to me. I used to notice a real lag when trying to access a forum 5 or 6 pages deep, if that makes any sense at all. |

I have dial-up, so I don't think that applies to me. For weeks the site can be fast on one visit then slow an hour later. Sometimes site is working fine and then I'll click on a topic and it takes forever to load. If that happens, I usually have to exit and wait a while before coming back. |

Over the past couple of months, you have obviously been visited by aliens and have managed to reverse engineer their dilithium crystal web server thingy, 'cause the difference is like night and day.
