Well hate to burst your bubbles fellas but my take on it is that Kathleen Parker is putting in a serious bid to replace Charley Reese as the 'Conservative' voice on editorial opinion page of the Orlando Sentinel. She is Soccer Mom liberal through and through and with her as the conservative side and Mariam Marques on the liberal side it's sort of  akin to having your wife on one side talking into you ear and your mother/sister-in-law on the other ear telling you the way of things, both talking at the same time. Charley Reese was one of the few reasons to read the Sentinel and there won't be much dissention between these two in the Insight section. I repeat Kathleen Parker isn't a conservative. Was really surprised by her postion BTW. Personally think it is a ruse.

Hell, I am not a conservative either - I am a constitutionalist.

Well by her picture over her column she is cute, but politically don't think she is anywhere near the thinking of anyone on this board. Much closer to the Million Mom March thing I think. Definitely the SUV too-much-free-time-on-her-hands Soccer Mom thing at work. She is leagues ahead of Marques tho.[;)]
