It was just your garden variety MAC-10 in .45 ACP with a Sionics suppressor.
And yes it was real - real old. [:P] |

IIRC, that was some variant of the MAC. Not at all a fantasy gun, even with the suppressor. Now as to the rest of the movie...

It was a MAC 11, 380 cal., cyclic rate of about 1200rpm.

The 380s were quite a bit smaller. The 9 and 45 are same frame size. I thought when I saw the movie it was a 9mm gun..

IIRC, that was some variant of the MAC. Not at all a fantasy gun, even with the suppressor. Even better than a variant. That was a real live MAC, made by Military Armament Corporation, stamped with M. A. C. on one side, and the father's name (Ingram) on the other side. Hell, the thing was brand new when the movie was made in 1972/1973 (It was "officially" released in 1974). Kind of a pitiful movie though, poor ol' Duke just wasn't a "Bullet" sorta guy like the real McQ ,,, Steve [i]something.[/i][:)] |
