The .41 is a great round, but rather specialized.
It started as a proposal for a better Law Enforcement round, I think. It's following is mostly in the hunting interest. I'd have one for fun or hunting, but the .357 & .44 are the better choices for finding ammo when you want it, with the edge going to the .357. Add some power to the .357 and get a 6" bbl. Ya-hoo! |

I've got a Ruger Blackhawk in 41. Fun to shoot. The report doesn't seem as bad as a 357. It is harder to find ammo and it's more expensive though.

also, how much velocity do you lose going from 6in to 4in?
how different is the recoil between the 2? thanks again |
