First off, it's [b]BATF[/b], not [b]ATF[/b].
The [b]B[/b]ATF is trying to use the 3 letter acronym to make themselves more credible, like the CIA, FBI, or NSA. They aren't. (I won't argue that the others are credible either, but....) [b]B[/b]urn [b]A[/b]ll [b]T[/b]oddlers [b]F[/b]irst |

Yeah, their jackets say ATF.
Again, it's posturing on their part. They don't like being a Bureau, lowly tax collectors. All the 'kewl' organizations have 3 letters, CIA, FBI, NSA, DEA, etc.... |
