Holy crap! I've got one in my basement, guess I'd better take care of it... I was issued it in 1984...when I saw the fixed loop I asked the supply sergeant if I could trade him a newer helmet for it, and I did. Still has the original WWII chinstraps, too. |

Sad part is many of my childhood friends had one or two in their toy boxes. We just played army with them and didn't treat them all that well. If only we could have seen the future.
