Thanks,
John

Not meaning to start a flame-fest, but how did you find this site. I'd be willing to bet you used a search engine. Most find FAL as easily as AR. Sorry, caught me in a grumpy mood. Have a nice day. [frag]

Here are a couple of manufacturer/builder sites:

www.dsarms.com

www.entreprise.com

There's also an importer assembling them from IMBEL kits and receivers, IAI but the website escapes me. A search ought to pull them up.

Oh, didn't notice you're in CA. The only manufactured/assembled one you can get is the fixed mag/stripper clip dustcover/10 round version from DSA. Others may sell you one w/o the pistol grip but that's a little iffy.

Thanks to all of you who answered without the asinine remarks. I realize a search would of produced results, but I didn't want to wade through 10 million hits. If you didn't want to help, then don't answer the post, dumbass.

John,

You may have some trouble buying one in California.

Aside from Nachoman's post, you didn't get too many "asinine remarks".  Believe it or not Garandman's post is correct.  Dealer Cost on a DSA "Kit Gun" is $795.  If you have a dealer who is willing to send his FFL and the funds at the same time, it is probably the best buy out there.  DSA will verify with the dealer that it is OK to send it to him--i.e. they are trying to protect the dealers business by making sure the dealer will accept transfers vs. having the dealer buy it and re-sell it at a profit.

I'll ASSume you aren't referring to me here. [}:D]

I actually went to my dealer, who ordered one from DSA for dealer cost ($795) and I only paid the FFL transfer fee in addition to that. I ordered a STG58 "kit" gun. Don't let that scare you. They look as nice as DSA's premium guns, which have no better. (Azexarms and ARS may be DSA's equal)

Its the best value I've gotten for my gun money todate.

AFARR, let's just say I'm not the most law abiding gun citizen in the state of California.

Garandman,
No, that post was not directed at you.
