Yep, I'm moving and I'd like to be able to get some of the cable TV channels.  Unfortunately the cable company seriously stinks and is the only game in town, I've checked Dish networks and DirecTV and neither offer UPN or WB in my area (wife wants those channels), C-Band is just too expensive - are there any other Sattelite providers out there?

Thanks...

I install DirecTV for a living and some Dishnet on the side and for the most part they offer about the same packages for the same prices. They are the only two providers now that Primestar was bought by DirecTV a couple years ago. If it were me, I would look into getting "lifeline" cable (just the basics) so your wife will be happy and getting either Dishnet or DTV for your premiums. Lifeline cable in my area is between $8-10 per month. And of course, I have heard that there are ways to get all channels with either system....but I wouldn't know anything about that. [rolleyes]
