The 19 is a great gun, probably the most popular that glock makes. 700 sounds kind of high. If the mags are factory hi-caps it might be a good deal, but i'd try to get him to lower the price.

The 15rdr mags can range anywhere from $75 to $150(saw a mag guy at a gunshow selling em and people were buying) depending on who's selling. The Glock 19 can be had @ around $475 NIB. I personally think that is kinda high, but your buddy might be basing his figure on the hi-caps being included. I'd offer him $600 for the whole shibang.

It isn't quite as top heavy as the 30 and fits my hand nicely. I'm not a big fan of 9mm but I don't think I would volunteer to be shot with this caliber either. Cheaper to feed than most other pistol calibers. I think he is $100-150 too high. I don't care if he put a single round through it, it is a used gun and used stock Glocks typically are running $400-450. If the standard capacity 15 rounders are factory they are worth $75-100. I would offer $550-600 tops. |

Like the above, $550-600 would be max and the two hi-caps would have to be drop free mags (FML).

Gunbroker.com has 19's for 450.00 NIB. Unless your into it for bailing out your buddy, go with the 17. If he lets you have the whoel boat for 500, that's different. Some bud...$700! $400 would be a bud. Are they factory 15s? Nite sites? I only grab bargains...got my 19 for $350 W/2 hi-caps. While not orgasmic, I was satisfied. Haggle time. Let him walk the aisles of a show and see what he is offered, then move in for the "kill". Nice gun though. Right size.
