Ya I bet you guys are getting sick of me asking DSA Questions right now But I have one more I need to know.

What is the difference between the type 1 and type 2 receiver that DSA has on the STG58A? I have not seen what they look like or anything. I'd also like to know is one better then the other. Thanks for the help you guy's!!

THe difference in the receivers is the lightening cuts--

The Type one at the top has a straight horizontal lightening cut on the left side of the receiver in the picture (under where it says DS Arms...), and a straight vertical cut where the barrel screws in.

The Type two below it has a radiused cut at the left and another at the right where the barrel screws in.

I personally like the Type 2 looks.

BTW--the Type 3 has no lightening cuts (the current IMBEL receivers are Type 3).

If DSA stops making Type 2 receivers, then they may become more "rare", but not enought to be worth a significant premium.
