Folks...

Who's got the best deal out there on Pelican rifle cases?  Or is there someone out there with a used one (1750), in tolerable shape, for sale?

[ I don't mind those in grey color, but the bumblebee yellow ones are nice & easy to spot on airport luggage carousels! ]

I've never had a problem, and my Pelican came pronto.  Just call to see if it's in stock, first.

 I have read reviews from guys that have already received their "seconds" cases and rave about them.  The problem that the seconds have is a small inner portion of the slot for the "O" ring, did not get molded due to flow problems with the plastic.  It is not supposed to drastically affect anything.  I may or may not fix the area with some epoxy and flock.  I will have to wait and see.

Go to his main page and check out his torture tests and comparisons against other brands.  Better yet, write the owner and ask him how his cases stack up against Pelican.

I have mine on order right now.  I will let you know first hand, if you want, on the quality went I get it.  Sorry though, I don't want to tie mine to the back of a truck and drag it, like the one reviewer did.  [:)]

I now that the military uses Starlight cases.

I bought one of the "factory 2nds" and I cant find a flaw on/in it.  They even included a box knife to custom cut the foam.  My favorite pat is the carry handle.  It is almost exctly like the carry handle on a LMG upper and it retracts atomatically.  Mine is a 52'? and was less than 100 shipped.  

This is the best out there, especially for the price.
