Anyone have any experience with these, is it a POS?

You mean the "inch" IMBEL receiver? Lots of people have assembled Commonwealth pattern rifles using IMBEL receivers. Never heard of a single complaint. I've used the R1A1 metric IMBEL for two builds. It doesn't get much more IN SPEC than an IMBEL. It's also supposed to be a forged receiver.
