Quoted: Someone mentioned in another thread that they don't listen to talk radio after he figured out all they do is fill him with paranoia and hate.
I think that there's a lot of money in filling people with paranoia and hate.
I don't listen to the crap. Right, Left... who cares. It's the same thing just replacing "liberal" with "conservative" and vise versa. One day all the narrow minded zealots are going to either burn in hell, or just cease to exist. You know what?... Either way, to me it doesn't matter.

Yeah, I see your point. I am trying to stay away from the ones that are really one sided.
Plus, I'm taking this poly-sci course at school that's pretty interesting. The professor has worked in some pretty high up places for both parties. He basically got out of it to prevent loasing his soul, I think. He's very anti Bush, but seems to have a certain loathing for democrats too. Seems to ba a bit of a socialist, but no tenough to make me hate him yet. Most of his lecture is spent detailing how the government is supposed to work, and then why it doesn't and how it's all pretty much corrupted by interest groups and corporations to the point that the now beaten down populace really has no representation at all. He's really quite cynical about the whole thing.
At least he is honest: He said today that there ar only two ways to change government: ballots and bullets. There is a certain poetry to it, I feel. I almost think he would support a revolution, but I doubt we would agree on what to do afterward.
Anyway, everytime I leave the class, I feel like finding a good rooftop.
