A friend of mine was thrown out of Letterman's audience for booing Jane Fonda when she was on the show in 2005. When they cut for the ad break a Letterman goon came out and told him to get up, walked him out of the theatre and then one of the staff sat in his seat to make it all look like nothing had happened.

I was watching until her name was announced.  Now I'm watching The Sopranos from Sunday PM.
