Blue Locktite on the base screws and nothing on the ring screws

I used loctite on my Rem 700 mounts (that is, the rifle/mount threads). I wouldn't use it on the mount/ring surface or ring/scope surface.

The only thing I use lock tight on is the trigger group and that is only if installing a Jard assy.
